Position Summary

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team and help ensure every part we produce meets the highest quality standards. This position plays a key role in inspecting fasteners and machined components to verify compliance with customer specifications, military standards, and our internal ISO-9001 procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished fasteners for dimensional and visual accuracy.

Use precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, hardness testers, optical comparators, etc.).

Verify compliance with blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.

Document results, maintain inspection logs, and prepare Certificates of Conformance and first article documentation.

Identify nonconformances and assist in root-cause and corrective-action processes.

Communicate inspection results to production and quality leadership.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).

Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing quality inspection.

Familiarity with ISO-9001, MIL-SPEC and ASME quality standards.

Proficient in using precision measurement tools and interpreting GD&T drawings.

Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience

Prior work in fastener manufacturing, defense, or aerospace environments.

Experience preparing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).

Understanding of DLA, NAVSEA, or DFARS requirements.
