Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and supporting overall inventory management processes. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory control systems and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.

Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Utilize inventory management software such as AS400 to track stock movements and update records.

Collaborate with the purchasing team to forecast inventory needs and assist in buying decisions.

Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies to improve accuracy.

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

Generate reports using Tableau for inventory analysis and performance metrics.

Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval of products.

Support financial analysis related to inventory costs and turnover rates.

Qualifications

Proven experience in inventory management or warehouse operations is preferred.

Strong skills in financial analysis and understanding of cost implications related to inventory.

Familiarity with inventory control systems, including AS400, is a plus.

Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the role.

Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau is advantageous.

Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques for problem-solving within inventory processes.

Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
