Send out quote requests from multiple vendors to price each job for plumbing material purchases Analyze bid leveling and negotiate with vendors to reach buy pricing Place purchase orders with vendors; buy change orders Coordinating with other departments for sourcing materials as needed Maintain information and communication in system databases for purchasing Specify and obtain submittals for alternate items when needed Search out new vendors to expand our logistics and supply chain options Meet with vendors to maintain relationships and obtain desirable terms and arrangements Coordinate material in the field; trouble shooting deliveries, address all quality assurance issues and material count discrepancies Set up delivery of material as requested; maintain daily delivery schedule Help accounting resolve payable discrepancies; invoice verification

REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma required Bachelors Degree preferred Experience in inside sales and plumbing distribution is highly desired Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Intermediate in Microsoft Excel (i.e. sorting, filtering, pivot tables etc.), Microsoft Outlook, and the internet Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute various rates, ratios, and percentages
