The Accounting Clerk II supports accounting entry, reconciling and process activities within the department. The main responsibilities include processing daily deposits, monthly journal entries and account reconciling, assisting treasury reconciliations, mail sorting and occasional invoice entry. This position will also serve as the Payroll and Treasury backup.

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to processing daily deposits, monthly journal entries and account reconciling, assisting treasury reconciliations, mail sorting and occasional invoice entry. This position will also serve as the back-up for Payroll.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Two (2) years of bookkeeping / accounting experience if education level is High School diploma or equivalent

One (1) year of bookkeeping / accounting experience if education level is Associate degree in Accounting

Preferred

Three (3) years of bookkeeping / accounting experience

Schedule Requirements

This role requires regular and sustained attendance.

The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
