About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, and quality-focused Assembler to join our team! In this role, you'll engage in a variety of routine and /or semi-repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment in accordance with standardized processes, procedures, or methods. What a typical day looks like:

Perform mechanical and/or electrical operations or assemblies using hand tools and various @types of fastening devices involving power operations. Full training will be provided; no experience is required.

Responsible for daily clean-up of all assigned work areas and to practice Good Housekeeping skills.

Use computer skills with applicable MS office programs and other software.

Basic duties as required to meet production needs. Must also be flexible to OT or a flex schedule.

Work in a team environment.

Ensure the safety & wellbeing of all employees and visitors to the facility. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental & regulations, operating & work instructions, policies and rules in place.

Any other duties as assigned by management.

Learning Opportunities:

Solder in accordance with J-STD-001 and IPC-620.

Deploy sound inventory control methods and procedures.

Read schematics, wire diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Must have reliable transportation.

Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions.

Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written form.

Ability to add and subtract whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

Must be quality conscious and have a good work ethic.

Must maintain ESD Precautions Standards certification in areas/facilities where required (training provided by employer)

May be required to lift or exert up to 55 pounds as required by the job task.

Must be motivated, have strong attention to detail, and bring high energy to the workplace.

Must be U.S. persons within the definition of ITAR, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift or exert up to 55 pounds.

Compensation:

This is a non-exempt position. Compensation is based on experience in manufacturing, education, and prior experience in manufacturing.
