In our time of Company growth, we are seeking a Medical Assistant/Pediatrics.

Work Location:

Bradenton, FL

As part of this role, you will:

Adheres to the time and attendance policy as written in the employee handbook

Must be able to float to alternative locations as instructed by your supervisor with short notice, and ensure adequate site coverage

Responsible for providing vital signs, interviewing the patient/family, and charting

Collaborates with healthcare providers in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the needs of patients and peers

Maintains positive, effective communication with providers, supervisors, peers, and subordinates

Ensures Providers orders are directed to the various appropriate departments

Knowledgeable / Assist providers as requested with exams, procedures, removal of sutures, etc.

Completes medication and DME authorizations for patients in a timely manner

Knowledgeable in walk-in triage and interventions regarding patients' age under the leadership of the Clinical Nurse Leader

Sign-on Retention Bonus of $5,000 for a total of 2 years.

6 months from the date of the hire $1000

12 months from the date of the hire $1000

18 months from the date of the hire $1000

24 months from the date of the hire $2000

What you need to bring to this role:

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with 1 - 2 years experience preferred

Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program required

Submit proof of externship hours from an accredited program required

Ability to verify graduation from an accredited school

Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute Required

Cardio Department ONLY: ACLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety Institute Required

Valid government or State ID
