Primary responsibilities include:

Financial advisor to president & senior leadership team

Records, tracks, evaluates & generates reports on financial performances

Examines the finances for opportunities to increase profits

Verifies compliance with laws & regulations

Manage our ERP Financial Records

Accurate & timely financial records for the company

Up-to-date financial statements (Cash Flow, P&L, Balance Sheets, Projects Costs)

Closing for month end

Manage Receivables & Payables

A/R Collections

A/P Management

Generate, update & maintain A/R & A/P procedures

Issues customer invoices

Manage Cash Flow Projections

Create accurate cash projections

Plan payments & spending

Payroll & Benefits Management

Confirm project labor charges

Verifies compliance to employee benefit commitments

Oversee payroll tax deductions & payments

Tax Compliance

Track all the federal, state & local taxes which the business is responsible for paying

Research tax break opportunities to the business

Project & budget all tax payments

Purchasing

Oversee the purchasing of our computers

Oversee the purchasing of server and LAN equipment

Control costs for the business

Manage Company Assets

Oversees the effort to track and maintain company assets

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred

5-8 years' experience in a similar capacity (Plant Controller, Manufacturing Accounting)

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Must have an understanding of Cost Accounting and General Accounting principles

Proven Expert in ERP system, preferably SAGE, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
