ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES

Display

outstanding customer service skills by greeting customers, and providing friendly, courteous service at all times. Display this same courtesy to co-workers as well. Be professional in appearance and demeanor.

Be responsible for budget, inventory control, orders, processing, packaging, labeling, maintaining acceptable retail smoked meat and frozen meat stock level, sanitation, and maintaining plan-o-grams set by Brookshire Brothers

Schedule and supervise employees assigned to the meat department to insure total customer satisfaction.

Follow all training programs and makes sure all employees in meat department are sufficiently trained.

Be willing and able to work additional shifts other than what is posted on weekly schedule.

Be willing and able to perform other duties as assigned such as general cleaning, custodial duties, and other activities as directed by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR

EXPERIENCE -

Must have a minimum of 2 years meat cutting experience unless approved by the District Director.Must be able to use Microsoft Office products with ease.Must have good verbal and written skills.Must be able to calculate gross profits, inventories, and salary projections.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds. All other physical requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
