All qualified applicants will be required to write the civil service exam for this position. The exam will take place on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Minot Municipal Auditorium, Room 201. A Photo ID will be required for the exam.

Nature

Work

This is entry level work involving the inspection of real property for tax assessment purposes. The work includes conducting research of real estate sales to determine proper valuation. The work is performed under the continuing supervision of the Assistant City Assessor.

Education and Experience

Possession of a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, banking, economics, or related field supplemented by course work in basic appraisal methods and some experience in real estate sales, property appraisal or related work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
