**GIS Analyst Contract to Hire - On Site

Description** :

Working in a professional environment with a team of engineers, environmental scientists and planners.

Develop database schemas and analysis methods needed to support project goals and efficiently use web resources to research and problem solve.

Independently conduct advanced spatial analyses using ArcGIS software and work with project managers and clients to design and effectively employ GIS on a variety of infrastructure projects.

Projects include geospatial solutions for desktop, web, and mobile.

Develop geodatabase schemas and analysis methods needed to support project goals.

Develop and support web GIS applications

Create maps, databases and other deliverables on short notice.

Perform quality control checks

Qualifications and Experience Required

Bachelors in Geography, Planning, Data Sciences or relevant field.

1-3 years practical GIS experience.

Vector and raster data performing spatial analysis using Esri Desktop ArcGIS Pro software, scripting and extensions - ModelBuilder, Python, Spatial Analyst, 3d Analyst, Linear Referencing, etc.

Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro Desktop editing tools, map and layout functions.

ArcGIS Online platform and associated products such as Experience Builder, Story Maps, Field Maps and Survey 123.

Map generation and data visualization.

Expertise with developing Geodatabases and schemas (domains, sub@types).

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
