The Accounting Tech is responsible for managing accounts receivables for BTCS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Process deposits

Generate and submit invoices to customers

Record invoices in the accounts receivable system

Record and reconcile customer payments

Monitor and reconcile daily payment batches with accounting records

Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances

Maintain organized records of invoices, payments and correspondence

Assist with month-end closing activities and financial audits

This position may also act as a backup for accounts payable duties

Location: Remote in Round Rock, TX

Differential Detail:

$1.00/hour, two years previous experience in a similar position

$1.00/hour, tenure with BTCS

$1.00/hour, BTCS Career Ladder Specialty

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Previous experience with accounting responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and agency staff. Excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous accounts receivable experience. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, Excel, Word and Outlook.
