Job Title: Computer Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Computer Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to end users, resolve IT-related issues efficiently, and ensure all computer systems operate at optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Install, upgrade, and support Windows operating systems and business applications.

Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365, email, and user accounts.

Create, manage, and reset user accounts in Active Directory.

Set up and deploy new computer systems and migrate user data.

Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and security patches.

Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and printers.

Document technical issues, resolutions, and inventory using a ticketing system.

Provide onsite and remote technical support to employees.

Follow company security policies and IT best practices.

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3-4 years of experience as a Computer Technician, Desktop Support Technician, or IT Support Technician.

Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.

Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory.

Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, and mobile devices.

Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move computer equipment as needed.

Valid driver's license may be required for field support roles.

Preferred Qualifications

CompTIA A+ Certification.

Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk.

Knowledge of imaging tools and deployment technologies.
