Hourly Pay: $37.50 - $41.50 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work on our Transition team. The Transition Team is a specialized group of skilled nurses whose mission is to provide immediate, high-quality care to newly admitted patients while our office recruits permanent caregivers. Nurses on this team deliver all authorized hours in the home for a provisional period of 1-90 days. Once replacement nurses are hired, they'll receive hands-on training and shadowing opportunities with the Transition Team before taking over care.

Pay : $37.50-$41.50/hour

Relatively Flexible scheduling - PT and FT

College partnerships & continuing education

Responsibilities include:

Providing skilled nursing care per prescribed orders

Assessing and responding to changes in patient condition

Documenting nursing diagnoses and collaborating with healthcare team

Requirements:

· Successful completion of competency/skills validation (Trach care, Ventilator management, G-Tube care, Pediatrics & adults)

· Strong customer service, communication, and professionalism

· Travel distance up to 45 minutes* (bonus added for over 45 minutes)

· Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.

· Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).

· Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.

· Current BLS card.

· One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
