Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Absecon, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate cash flow processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections, cash applications, and billing functions.

Responsibilities:

Process and reconcile accounts receivable transactions with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Apply cash payments to customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Manage commercial collections activities, including following up on outstanding invoices.

Perform billing functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

Monitor and report cash activity to maintain updated financial records.

Collaborate with internal teams to address account issues and improve payment processes.

Prepare and maintain detailed reports on accounts receivable performance.

Identify and implement improvements to streamline accounts receivable operations.

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to financial transactions. Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable, cash applications, and collections.

Proficiency in managing commercial collections processes.

Strong knowledge of billing functions and cash activity reporting.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.

Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Familiarity with relevant accounting software and tools.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to financial regulations.
