Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a firm located in Wayne, Pennsylvania. This long-term contract position offers flexible hours, requiring approximately 25 hours per week onsite. The ideal candidate will have expertise in QuickBooks and a solid understanding of financial processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

Accurately enter invoices into QuickBooks and maintain organized financial records.

Process invoices efficiently to ensure timely payment.

Handle cash applications and ensure proper allocation of funds.

Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and transactions.

Support general accounting tasks, including data entry and record management.

Utilize Microsoft Excel to assist with financial analysis and reporting.

Collaborate with team members to meet accounting deadlines and maintain compliance.

Requirements

Proven experience in bookkeeping,

Proficiency in QuickBooks software.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for financial data management.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work onsite in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and management.

Flexibility to work approximately 25 hours per week with adaptable scheduling.
