The role contributes to smooth financial processing by maintaining organized documentation, preparing routine accounting entries, and assisting with reporting and reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day accounting activities by processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.

Complete month-end balancing tasks by reconciling reports and verifying that supporting records align with the general ledger.

Input, retrieve, and organize accounting data in designated systems while producing routine financial and operational reports in required formats.

Assist with utility and customer account administration by setting up new accounts, assigning account details, recording payments, and addressing past-due balances.

Perform cashiering duties by receiving payments, fees, deposits, and other incoming funds, while ensuring transactions are recorded correctly.

Provide administrative and public-facing support by responding to procedural questions, preparing forms, and checking documents for completeness and policy compliance.

Requirements - At least 3 years of experience in an accounting clerk or related financial support role.

Practical experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, and high-volume data entry.

Proficiency using QuickBooks and other computer-based accounting or financial record systems.

Ability to reconcile reports, track financial details, and maintain accurate accounting records with strong attention to detail.

Comfortable handling cash receipts, payment processing, and routine reporting responsibilities in an office environment.
