Digital products play a central role in how we create value for customers, support the teams who serve them, and shape the consumer experience.
Our Product and Engineering organizations bring together small, empowered teams that move with clarity, speed, and purpose, enabling digital to be a meaningful source of advantage across Coca-Cola's North America Operating Unit.
Our work spans customer journeys, service delivery, sales workflows, and the platforms that connect them. We are raising our standards for product craft and rebuilding the systems behind these experiences.
As a Software Engineering Group Manager, you will lead multiple engineers across full stack, front end, and back-end disciplines to deliver customer-facing and internal products in a product operating model. You will partner closely with Product, Design, Data, and Architecture to shape strategy, build durable platforms, and deliver measurable outcomes.
This role is for leaders who can grow strong teams, raise engineering standards, and guide technical direction - while staying close enough to the work to make sound architectural and delivery decisions.
What You Will Work On
At Coca-Cola, engineers have the opportunity to build products at meaningful scale-shaping the digital experiences, platforms, and intelligent systems that power how we serve customers, enable field teams and partners, support sales, and drive transaction growth across one of the world's most recognized brands. Depending on the team, you could work on connected service tools that improve resolution speed and reliability, data and API platforms that unlock growth and decisioning, customer and operational experiences that reduce friction across workflows, or sales products that equip teams with better visibility, insights, and execution capabilities. This is a chance to join at a pivotal moment: helping define modern engineering practices, influence product direction, and build high-impact solutions in empowered, cross-functional teams where your work directly connects to business performance and customer outcomes
How We Work
You'll be part of a dedicated, cross-functional team (Product, Design, Engineering) that is:
Empowered to solve problems, not just build features
Accountable for outcomes, not output
Collaborative by default, from discovery through delivery
Continuously learning, using data and customer insight to improve
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coach a group of full stack, front end, andback-endengineers throughtechnical leadership and professional development
Play a key role in building out your Software Engineering Team;
Bring astrong technical perspective to help the teamidentifywhat isfeasible, what is valuable, and what is worth building
Challenge assumptions and propose alternative solutions that are simpler, faster, or more impactful
Partner with Product Management and Design to frame problems, define outcomes, and translate strategy into an executable roadmap
Align cross-team dependencies and coordinate delivery across multiple services and applications
Communicate status, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders; make decisions thatoptimizefor customer and business impact
Make pragmatic tradeoffs between speed, scalability, maintainability, and cost
Ensure alignment with broader platform and enterprise architecture where appropriate
Guide architecture and technical direction across front end, back end, and platform capabilities; ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable
Partner with Data Engineering and DataAnalyticsto enable reliable data products, feature pipelines, and ML-powered experiences where they create measurable value
Establish engineering standards for APIs, UI architecture, data contracts, andeventing; ensure alignment with enterprise and platform architecture
Own technical risk management (security, privacy, resiliency, cost); surface tradeoffs and investment needs early
Ensure strong engineering practices, including testing, observability, and CI/CD
Maintain a high bar for code quality and system design through reviews and hands-on contribution
Drive continuous improvement of the product through iteration, feedback, and learning
Establish reliability targets (SLOs/SLAs where applicable) and drive continuous improvement in performance, availability, and cost efficiency
Balance short-term delivery with long-term product and technical health, including planned reduction of technical debt
Ensure the team is focused on delivering meaningful impact, not just completing work
Create clarity on ownership boundaries, decision rights, and interfaces between teams to enable autonomy with alignment
