Company Summary

The world depends on data we power and cool . Vertiv is a global leader in critical digital infrastructure for applications in data centers, communication networks, and commercial and industrial environments. The AI revolution is rewriting the rules of digital infrastructure, demanding solutions that move as one. Vertiv delivers end-to-end infrastructure where power, cooling, IT, and services work in unison. Role Summary

AI is driving data center power density, power delivery architectures, and infrastructure economics faster than most of the industry can absorb. New power system designs are moving from whiteboard to deployment in real time. Vertiv sits at the center of that shift, serving the world's largest hyperscalers, colocation operators, and enterprises.

The Global Portfolio Marketing Manager - Power is an experienced individual contributor role. You will contribute to how the market thinks about data center power infrastructure for the next decade. You will develop and execute on the product and solution narrative, the launch plan, the GTM execution, the outcomes, and the scoreboard.

This is an onsite position at our Global Headquarters in Westerville, Ohio (Columbus metropolitan area). You report to the Director of Strategic Portfolio Marketing, Power and serve as the marketing partner to product line leaders, while enabling GTM initiatives within global and regional teams, building customer intimacy into positioning and messaging, and translating technical differentiation into narratives that resonate with customers.

What makes this role different:

Outcomes over features. Every narrative starts with the business value to customers: uptime, density enablement, speed to deployment, TCO reduction, risk mitigation. Product features and specifications follow the outcome.

Solution framing. You bridge individual point products into cohesive solution narratives tied to customer applications, use cases, and pain points.

Customer intimacy drives GTM. Customer journeys, buying triggers, and decision criteria shape your go-to-market strategy and execution.

Collaboration. You partner with product management, sales, global, and regional marketing to unlock impactful product launches and GTM actions.

To summarize: Fantastic opportunity to shape the power narrative behind the AI infrastructure revolution.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the positioning, value proposition, solutions and marketing/GTM initiatives for assigned power solutions.
