The Senior Compensation Analyst is a member of the Total Rewards team working under the general direction of the Compensation Supervisor. The Senior Compensation Analyst is a forward-thinking subject matter expert in base pay administration, management incentive plans, equity compensation, and pay compliance.

Job Details

Project manage ongoing compensation activities such as the annual merit increase cycle, compensation budget planning, management bonus, equity grants, and salary survey participation.

Collaborate with business leaders, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other teams to provide guidance on compensation matters.

Evaluate current compensation programs and practices to ensure they are compliant and align with UniFirst's Compensation Philosophy.

Conduct internal and external market research, analyze competitive position and market trends, and make recommendations for pay programs.

Manage the day-to-day administration of the equity compensation program, including the issuance of equity awards, monitoring transactions, vesting events, and the creation of various reports.

Serve as the subject matter expert on UniFirst's talent mobility programs.

Stay abreast of new compensation trends and legislative changes.

Develop and provide compensation metrics and analytics to Senior Leadership.

Conduct ad hoc compensation analyses and projects.

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $71,000 - $99,000 yearly. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. Geographic differentials may also apply depending on the position's location. There is no application deadline for this role; recruitment will remain open until the position is filled.

Qualifications

Experience

5 years of experience in Compensation.

Robust analytical skills and business sense with an ability to see the implications of actual and planned activities.

Strong project management and planning skills, ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.

Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with all levels in the organization.

Ability to exercise judgment and problem-solve with minimal direction.

Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Thorough understanding of FLSA and knowledge of wage compliance and regulations.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), SHRM-CP, or PHR certification preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or related field required.
