Description

We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to support inventory accuracy and material control for a growing company in Salt Lake City. This is a contract role, the right applicant is someone who is meticulous and self driven individual.

Responsibilities:

Monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate records for materials, parts, and company assets used in production operations.

Support assembly line activity by ensuring required items are available, properly staged, and recorded within inventory processes.

Perform routine cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory activities to verify stock levels and resolve discrepancies.

Review inventory variances, research causes of count differences, and update records to improve overall accuracy.

Track asset inventory across designated areas and help maintain organized storage and material identification practices.

Receive, inspect, and document incoming inventory items while confirming quantities and basic item information.

Collaborate with production, warehouse, and materials teams to address shortages, misplaced items, and replenishment needs.

Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in inventory control, stockroom support, warehouse operations, or a related role.

Working knowledge of inventory tracking, asset inventory management, and physical count procedures.

Ability to support annual inventory activities and maintain accurate documentation with strong attention to detail.

Comfortable working in a manufacturing or assembly-based environment with shifting operational priorities.

Basic computer skills for updating inventory records and tracking material movement.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple inventory tasks efficiently.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams. TalentMatch®
