Lending Strategy & Business Ops Associate

The Lending Strategy & Business Operations Associate supports Lending Operations technology initiatives and assists with exam preparation, RCSA cycles, and issue forums to ensure readiness and executive alignment. The Lending Strategy & Business Operations area owns the operations technology roadmap, business requirements, prioritization, and process-to-system design. It leads adoption, change management, and benefits realization while partnering closely with Technology for build and delivery.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Insight generation, initiative ownership, and cross-functional coordination.

Develops advanced analytics, performance insights, and management reporting.

Translates data into actionable insights related to performance, capacity risk, and delivery optimization.

Partners with business stakeholders to identify issues, trends, and improvement opportunities.

Supports specific technology initiatives, defining requirements and supporting prioritization.

Supports process-to-system design, ensuring alignment between operational needs and technology solutions.

Helps drive change management and adoption efforts, including stakeholder communication and training.

Coordinates exam preparation, RCSA cycles, and issue forums, ensuring alignment and readiness across stakeholders.

Identifies opportunities to improve reporting, analytics frameworks, and operating processes.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of experience supporting commercial lending, including structured and complex commercial loan portfolios, with a strong understanding of lending operations, credit, portfolio management, and associated data sources.

Demonstrated experience working with commercial lending data, including integrating, analyzing, and reporting on loan, credit, portfolio, risk, and operational performance metrics.

Technical expertise in SQL, Snowflake, Python, APIs (development and consumption), and other data extraction, transformation, and integration tools.

Proven ability to integrate and analyze complex data from multiple sources to deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and executive-level reporting.

Strong technical and business acumen, executive presence, and experience partnering across business, credit, operations, risk, compliance, and technology teams.

Experience leveraging AI, automation, machine learning, and/or AI agents to improve reporting, analytics, monitoring, operational processes, and business outcomes.

Demonstrated success supporting cross-functional strategic initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Proven ability to build strong partnerships across business, technology, credit, operations, risk, compliance, and executive leadership teams.

Working knowledge of commercial credit, lending operations, AML, risk management, and regulatory requirements within a banking or financial services environment.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with the FIS Commercial Loan Servicing System (also known as ACBS)

Strong data analytics and reporting experience, including developing dashboards, management reporting, portfolio monitoring, and business intelligence solutions using Power BI or similar visualization platforms.

Pay Range $110,200 - $149,000
