As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Alarm Response in Roanoke, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms or concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Day Time

Wed04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Fri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Sat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Sun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.

Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain access logs, and communicate site requirements in a professional manner.

Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.

Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

A guard card or license is preferred.

Experience with access control and badges is preferred.

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
