Electrical Controls Engineer
Wage $65,000-$85,000 yearly
Job descriptions:
Candidate will be required to work with customers to design electrical control systems for automated equipment. We are looking for an applicant with solid work ethics, ability to work with others and a positive understanding attitude to develop unique machinery for our customers.
There will be occasional travel to support current customer automation systems or to install new systems.
Additional Job Description Details
Proficient in understanding and drawing 2-D electrical schematics using Auto-Cad or Draftsight
Experience with Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, Word
PLC Programming experience (we typically use Rockwell Automation)
Experience using I/O devices such as sensors, transmitters, etc.
HMI Programming experience (Allen Bradley, Maple Systems)
Can work independently and develop solutions to automation challenges
Experience with electromechanical devices such as servos, pneumatic systems and sensors
Working knowledge of safety protocols such as Risk Assessment, Sistema, Lockout/Tagout
Ability to create user manuals for automation equipment
Good communication skills interfacing with assembly technicians
Strong mechanical aptitude a plus
Robotic programming a plus
Working with vision cameras and software a plus
