Construction Coordinator

Our client, in the construction and project management industry, is seeking a Construction Coordinator to join their team. As a Construction Coordinator, you will be part of the Project & Development Services department supporting onsite construction activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Construction Coordinator

Location: San Antonio, TX

Pay Range: $35 to $37/hr.

What's the Job?

Support on-site project execution for construction projects, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings and specifications.

Oversee daily construction activities, verify contractor compliance with safety and quality standards, and document progress.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve field conflicts and manage project documentation.

Maintain accurate daily logs, photographs, and records of construction progress and safety observations.

Assist in preparing project updates, schedule reports, and safety documentation, including safety audits and permit routing.

What's Needed?

Current OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Course certification for the Construction Industry.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings across multiple disciplines.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a construction field role such as field coordinator, assistant superintendent, or project engineer.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with construction management platforms is a plus.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to document field conditions clearly and coordinate effectively with diverse teams.
