You will conduct visible routine patrols, respond to security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors to help deter potential concerns. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government law-enforcement location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; document incidents, observations, and completed patrol activity accurately.

Carry and maintain authorized duty equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policy, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

Possess a college degree.

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.

Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
