As an Armed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $21.86 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Wed07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Thur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sun05:00 PM - 01:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations.

Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to appropriate personnel.

Maintain required reports and documentation, and carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.

Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.

A Guard Card/License is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
