Security Officer - Customer Service Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in Clayton, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting loss prevention efforts. Pay Rate: $17.77 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Tue02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Wed02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Thur02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Fri02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, driver, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies.

Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

At least six months of security-related experience is required.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
