JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the execution of one or more simultaneous programs under development or in production. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - The program manager is responsible for the execution of one or more simultaneous programs under development according to the released Product Life Cycle/Phase Review process from program approval through volume production. - The program manager is responsible for the execution of one or more simultaneous production released programs to meet delivery, quality, and performance requirements. - Lead program teams and facilitate the communication and interaction among the functional representatives. - Track program against its schedule, quality, budget and against phase review objectives, while reporting status to supervisor on a regular basis and executive staff on an as needed basis. - Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities. - Coordinate with customers, to provide necessary program status and obtain customer feedback. - Lead program teams and facilitate the communication and interaction among the functional representatives. - Regular attendance is required. - Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work area. - Perform all other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but does serve as a coach and mentor and provides direction for other positions on the team. POSITION TYPE: This is a Salaried-Exempt full-time position. TRAVEL: Travel as required Must be able to obtain BATFE (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives) approval. Due to the nature of the work performed within our facilities, U.S. Citizenship is required. ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Ten years of experience in a Defense Industry or Automotive Industry is a plus. Previous program management experience.
