Job Duties:This position reports to the Beto Sign Shop Facility on a daily basis. Duties will include directing and overseeing the work of inmates to ensure efficient operations; and supervising the work of employees and inmates. This individual will work under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.You'd be a GOOD fit if:You have 2 years of experience in the manufacturing of metal sign or other sign fabrication processes to include vinyl applications or silk screening or 4 years of production or manufacturing experience.You have experience in the supervision of employees and inmates. Correctional custody or law enforcement experience preferred.You'd be a GREAT fit if:You have knowledge of quality control standards to maintain satisfactory levels of production.You have knowledge of methods and procedures for the manufacture of silk screening preferred.You have great communication skills and are able to communicate your ideas, and instructions clearly to staff, administration, and vendors.You have skills in problem solving along with applying the rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
