As a Medical Director, practice medicine while establishing the direction and medical quality of the hospital Support provided in Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, and more AAHA-accredited hospital equipped with the latest veterinary technology, including digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house surgery suite, hospitalization, and more! We work closely with several local rescue groups and animal shelters including Houston SPCA, Houston Boxer Rescue, and the Lonestar Boxer Rescue. We are committed to using fear-free techniques when possible We offer a great culture with a supportive and collaborative approach

Schedule

Full-Time schedule Our hospital is open Monday - Friday 7:00am - 6:00pm and Saturday 8:00am - 2:00pm Full-time veterinarians average 4 10-hour shifts (rotating Saturdays)

Our practice focuses on providing comprehensive care for cats and dogs Mixture of wellness and sick patients

Compensation

Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials Medical Director stipend (paid biweekly) and Medical Director annual bonus This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent Licensure in good standing to practice in Texas, or the ability to obtain A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
