Electrical Assembly Technician

Our client, a leader in industrial manufacturing, is seeking a Electrical Assembly Technician I. to join their team. As a Electrical Assembly Technician I., you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Electrical Assembly team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician I.

Location: Battleboro, NC

Pay Range: $20-$22

Shift: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

Assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, and wire harnesses from prints and schematics.

Perform wiring, layout, and mounting of components for panels and industrial equipment.

Use hand and power tools for drilling, tapping, and assembly tasks.

Route and bundle wires neatly to meet wiring standards and specifications.

Maintain accurate red line drawing mark-ups and communicate changes effectively to engineers and team leads.

What's Needed?

High School diploma or GED required; technical training or certification is a plus.

Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

Prior experience with electrical theory and terminology.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Physical ability to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds and operate hand trucks or forklifts.
