Job Description Summary
Walmart is expanding with its third company-owned milk processing facility to serve over 750 stores across Texas and surrounding states. This state-of-the-art facility will produce high-quality milk products under Great Value and Member's Mark, using milk sourced primarily from Texas dairy farmers.
What you'll do...
Performs general cleaning duties for common and office areas throughout the entire facility including bathrooms and windows Completes daily cleaning tasks for example sweeping mopping vacuuming dusting surfaces cleaning windows emptying trash bins Responsible for minor maintenance tasks for example changing light bulbs fixing minor leaks reporting any major maintenance issues to the management Follows safety procedures to ensure the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment Responsible for ensuring common areas are free from hazards for example wet floors cluttered walkways Receives Hepatitis vaccinations in compliance with Legal requirements Inspects common areas to identify any damages or repairs needed and reports issues to management team members Adheres to all company safety procedures and guidelines Uses personal protective equipment Operates machinery and equipment safely Reports any hazards near misses injuries or accidents immediately Actively participates in safety trainings and drills Maintains cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents Contributes to the continuous improvement of all safety protocols Demonstrates awareness of surroundings to ensure own safety and the safety of others Successfully accomplishes work assignments and prioritizes tasks by utilizing policies and available resources Collaborates effectively with managers coworkers and business partners identifying priorities deadlines and expectations Carries out assigned tasks communicating progress and relevant information Actively identifies and suggests ways to address improvement opportunities Demonstrates adaptability and a willingness to learn from change difficulties and feedback Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies data and resources collaborating with managers coworkers customers and other business partners identifying priorities deadlines and expectations carrying out tasks communicating progress and information determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities and adapting to and learning from change difficulties and feedback Respect the Individual: Embraces differences in people cultures ideas and experiences creates a workplace where associates feel seen supported and connected through a culture of belonging creates opportunities for all associates to thrive and perform helps to attract the best talent Respect the Individual: Works as a team builds strong and trusting relationships communicates with impact energy and positivity to motivate and influence Respect the Individual: Strengthens the team by helping developing and mentoring others recognizes others contributions and accomplishments Act with Integrity: Maintains and promotes the highest standards of integrity ethics and compliance models the Walmart values to support and foster our culture holds oneself and others accountable supports Walmarts goal of becoming a regenerative company by making a positive impact for associates customers members and the world around us Act with Integrity: Acts in a selfless manner and is consistently humble selfaware honest fair and transparent Serve our Customers and Members Delivers results while putting the customer first Serve our Customers and Members Makes decisions based reliable information balances short and longterm priorities and considers how own work impacts the teams ability to deliver on our purpose for all stakeholders Strive for Excellence: Displays curiosity and a desire to learn takes calculated risks and demonstrates courage and resilience Strive for Excellence: Drives continuous improvements is open to and uses new technologies and skills and supports others through change At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet. The hourly wage range for this position is $20.80 - $26.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
