We're looking for an autonomous self-starter with outstanding organizational and program management skills - a strategic thinker who's also a natural collaborator. As a Client Account Manager (CAM) in Deloitte's Government and Public Services Industry, you'll work with senior leaders on some of our most important accounts - helping our teams build relationships, win projects and deliver work.

Work you'll do

As a Specialist, Client Account Management on the Client Excellence team, you will be responsible for:

Coordinating financial analysis, reporting, opportunity tracking, and internal account reporting to support account performance and delivery excellence

Supporting account strategy execution, leadership meetings, relationship assessment activities, and targeted client programs that advance account plan objectives

Developing, tailoring, and coordinating account materials, content, and events in support of account leaders, pursuits, proposals, and client relationship strategy

Managing cross-functional account operations, including risk and compliance coordination, procurement support, contract management activities, onboarding and offboarding support, and team communications

Analyzing market, client, and competitive intelligence and identifying process improvement or automation opportunities that support profitable account growth and efficient delivery

A successful candidate would possess these skills:

The team

As a part of Client Excellence, the CAM program is comprised of professionals who are dedicated to providing our most important client accounts with streamlined, cross-functional support. CAMs, like other Deloitte practitioners, are aligned to an industry.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree

4+ years of experience in account management, consulting, or both

4+ years of experience in project management

2+ years of experience managing multiple concurrent tasks and priorities

2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel

Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

Experience working in a professional services environment

Experience supporting business development, pursuits, or proposal development

Experience working with government or public sector clients

Experience developing presentations, reports, or account materials for senior stakeholders

Experience coordinating account operations, meetings, or team communications

Experience supporting account planning through market, client, or competitive intelligence analysis

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $69,400 to $115,700.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
