Credit Representative

Description

Responsibilities:

Provide daily administrative and operational assistance to credit staff and department leadership to keep workflows moving efficiently.

Compile, organize, and maintain accounts receivable, debtor, and credit-related records so information remains current and accessible.

Update account details and perform routine maintenance across internal systems, spreadsheets, and tracking resources.

Prepare recurring reports, review materials, and supporting documentation for portfolio discussions and leadership meetings.

Record key meeting outcomes, decisions, and follow-up items, then help monitor progress on outstanding tasks.

Investigate data inconsistencies, research missing details, and escalate issues as needed to support accurate credit files.

Respond to ad hoc reporting requests, special assignments, and departmental projects that support credit operations and risk monitoring.

Partner closely with analysts to ensure documentation is complete, well organized, and ready for ongoing portfolio review.

Requirements - Experience in administrative support, accounts receivable, credit operations, or a related back-office function.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manage and review large data sets accurately.

High level of organization and attention to detail when handling documentation, reports, and account information.

Ability to identify discrepancies, research issues, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate follow-ups across teams.

Comfort working with invoice, debtor, and credit-related information in a structured operational setting.

Analytical mindset and interest in developing knowledge of credit review and risk management processes.
