Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Medical Company in Cambridge MA

Thursday 3 PM - 11 PM AND Friday, Saturday and Sunday 700 AM - 300 PM

Starting Pay is $25.37 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As a Security Officer in Cambridge, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and badge processes. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Day Time

Thur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office, laboratory-adjacent, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and access control issues.

Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.

Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
