What This Job Is About
As a Level 1 Tech, your job is to learn the basics of how our factory works. You don't need years of experience-just a good work ethic, a desire to learn, and a focus on safety. We will teach you how to handle materials, assemble parts, prep metal, run basic equipment, and safely move products through the shop so you can build your skills toward Level 2.
What You Will Do Every Day
Learn the Basics: Move materials, clean and prep metal parts, load/unload the paint line, build equipment, and pack finished goods.
Follow Instructions: Learn to read basic shop drawings, log parts correctly, and follow written steps.
Work Safely: Wear your required safety gear (glasses, ANSI-certified footwear, ear plugs) every single day.
Ask Questions & Stop Work: If you see something unsafe, if a part looks wrong, or if you aren't sure what to do next, stop immediately and ask your Lead/Supervisor.
Help the Team: Move to different areas of the shop whenever help is needed to keep work moving smoothly.
What Makes You Successful
Showing Up: Coming to work on time every day with a positive attitude.
Learning Mindset: Paying attention during training, asking questions, and learning from feedback.
Careful Work: Taking pride in your work so parts are made right the first time.
Physical Requirements
Standing, walking, bending, and moving around the shop floor for your whole shift.
Safely lifting, carrying, or pushing items that weigh up to 35 to 50 lbs.
