We are looking for a talented Warehouse Coordinator III to join our 2nd Shift team specializing in Logistics at our Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems Business Unit facility in York, SC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Effective Communication: Deliver clear, timely, and audience-appropriate communications to stakeholders, ensuring alignment on shipment status, inventory needs, operational priorities, and compliance requirements.

Customer-Centric Solutions: Strengthen customer relationships by proactively identifying needs, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring logistics and warehouse operations consistently support customer expectations.

High-Quality Decision Making: Use data, shipment volume analysis, inventory trends, and operational insights to make timely decisions that improve service levels, reduce risk, and support business goals.

Driving Operational Results: Consistently deliver on performance metrics by optimizing transportation modes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting efficient inbound and outbound warehouse operations.

Accountability and Ownership: Take responsibility for commitments, monitor progress against goals, and ensure compliance with trade regulations, inventory controls, and operational standards.

Continuous Learning and Growth: Expand expertise in logistics, trade compliance, warehousing systems, and supply chain best practices while actively seeking development opportunities to increase effectiveness and impact.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:??????? ?

Operational Awareness and Follow-Through: Consistently review outstanding tasks, investigate unresolved issues, and ensure prior-shift activities are completed so operations continue without disruption.

Leadership and Workflow Management: Successfully lead shipping and packaging activities on the floor by monitoring workflow, balancing priorities, and ensuring shipment requirements are executed safely and efficiently.

Shipping and Logistics Coordination: Maintain strong oversight of trailer availability, dock utilization, load staging, packaging, and outbound shipment execution to support smooth product flow and on-time delivery performance.

Problem Solving and Accountability: Proactively identify transportation or operational issues, resolve challenges within your authority, and escalate concerns when needed to protect customer commitments and business objectives.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

A two year University degree from an accredited program in Business, Engineering or a relevant field of study preferred.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third party logistics provider management.

Review outstanding tasks and operational issues from the previous shift , conducting necessary follow-up and investigation to ensure completion or resolution.

Serve as the floor lead for shipping and packaging activities , monitoring workflow and helping ensure operational priorities and shipment requirements are met.

Support shipping operations by monitoring trailer availability, dock utilization, and loading/unloading activities to maintain efficient product flow.

Coordinate the preparation, packaging, staging, and shipment of designated outbound loads in accordance with customer and facility requirements.

Monitor outbound shipments to customer and facility locations , identifying potential delays or issues that could impact transportation schedules or shipping commitments.

Address day-to-day operational issues within the scope of the role and escalate issues to management when additional authority, resources, or support are required.
