Job Title: Electrical Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on mechanical and electrical assembly of panel boxes for electrical cabinets used in the aerospace industry. You will interpret schematics and blueprints, perform precise wiring and installation, and ensure each panel build meets quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Build and assemble electrical panel boxes for cabinets used in aerospace applications.
Perform electrical assembly tasks, including wiring, installation, and panel builds, from start to finish.
Interpret and wire to print using electrical schematics and blueprints to complete panel box assemblies accurately.
Install, route, and terminate wiring for 480V, 240V, and 120V systems, with the ability to work with other voltages as needed.
Use hand tools and power tools to assemble mechanical and electrical components safely and efficiently.
Perform soldering on electrical connections and components to ensure reliable and durable assemblies.
Utilize test equipment, including oscilloscopes and other diagnostic tools, to verify proper operation of electrical panels.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues within panel boxes and assemblies, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Follow established assembly procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines throughout all stages of the build process.
Maintain an organized workstation, manage parts and components, and contribute to continuous improvement in assembly processes.
Collaborate with team members and support other technicians to meet production goals and project deadlines.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical assembly in a manufacturing or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and voltages, including 480V, 240V, and 120V; familiarity with 400V is a significant plus.
Proven ability to wire to print within panel boxes, accurately interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, installation, and panel building.
Proficiency in reading and working from electrical schematics and technical blueprints.
Skilled in soldering electrical components and connections to a high standard.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in an assembly environment.
Experience with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues in panel assemblies.
Capability to use test equipment, including oscilloscopes and other diagnostic tools, to verify and diagnose electrical performance.
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, quality, and adherence to safety procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with electronics in a manufacturing or production setting.
Experience in mechanical assembly related to electrical cabinets or similar equipment.
Familiarity with a variety of test equipment beyond oscilloscopes, such as multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
Comfort working with panel build processes and installation tasks in a production environment.
Ability to interpret and follow detailed technical documentation and build instructions.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate within an assembly team.

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing environment with dedicated workstations rather than assembly lines, allowing you to focus on detailed panel builds and electrical work. The facility is well lit, supporting accuracy and visibility for schematic reading and wiring tasks. There is no air conditioning, but large fans help circulate air and improve comfort during warmer periods. You will regularly use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and test instruments such as oscilloscopes while working at your station.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
