Summary About the Position: The Military Entrance Processing Station plays a vital role in maintaining the nation's military might by ensuring that each new member of the Armed Forces: Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Space Force & Coast Guard; meets the high mental, moral & medical standards required by the DoD & the military services. Every MEPS represents state of the art in testing, examining & processing applicants for enlistment into the Armed Forces. Position will be filled on a permanent basis. Responsibilities Notify military applicants of required procedures for their assigned branch of service. Interview military applicants to gather and verify data for service entry. Obtain military applicants' fingerprints to initiate a background investigation. Manages the preparation of enlistment and re-enlistment packets for military service members. Conduct quality control of applicant processing packets to mitigate administrative discrepancies. Resolve conflicts that may arise among team members. Distribute workload among employees to ensure timely completion. Provide technical guidance and training to subordinate staff within command.
