Summary You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (Military) in the Naval Service Training Command of NROTC UNIV OF ILLINOIS. Responsibilities You will conduct administrative orientation briefs for new students. You will serve as the primary conduit for maintaining program continuity for all NROTC program requirements. You will provide senior officers, staff members, and stashed Ensigns training on multiple program requirements and processes. You will plan, develop and implements procedure for administrative data collection and advises Unit staff on correct procedures. You will prepare, collect, and administer various forms and correspondence in the NROTC student files and student health records. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Maintain filing systems of various records; 2) Enter data into automated database systems; 3) Review documents for completeness and compliance with established guidelines; 4) Utilize office automation equipment and software in order to prepare a variety of forms and correspondence Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
