Job Description:

GDIT's Federal Health Division is hiring a Project Analyst to support the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBICoE) located at HQ in Silver Spring, MD.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing research analytic support within the HQ Research Section assisting in developing, researching, maintaining and distributing environmental scans and literature reviews on areas such as 'hot topics' in TBI research or other TBI related research queries, emerging technology and blast research initiatives on a quarterly basis.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

You will assist in the management and facilitation of essential research information between HQ and stakeholders. Provide background research, literature searches and information in the development of research related items such as: literature reviews, research reviews, Information Papers, EXSUMS, abstracts, presentations, manuscripts, podcasts.

You will also assist in the development of various research databases; participates in analysis and interpretation of data and with the preparation of technical reports, summaries and manuscripts. Demonstrates clear understanding of clinical research procedures and methodologies. Develops and/or maintains professional relationships with other stakeholders of TBI- related research activities.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

Bring your neuroscience or public health expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Research Analyst must have:

Bachelor of Science in public health neuroscience, social sciences or related field required;

3+ year of professional experience providing analytic support to senior scientists.

Knowledge of research statistical programs such as SPSS/ SAS.

Must complete CITI/ HIPAA training.

Ability to obtain a T3 security clearance

WHAT WOULD BE EVEN BETTER:

Master's Degree preferred

Prior experience within the DoD/VA systems of care preferred.

Prior experience supporting TBICoE mission.

The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $81,256. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
