As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Administrator in Leesburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting a collaborative team. Tue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Wed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Thur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorized entry requirements, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access discrepancies in accordance with site procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.

Conduct regular and random patrols of access-control areas, building entry points, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Document daily activities, incidents, and access-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least one year of security-related experience.

Possess a college degree.

Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
