Urgent Hiring for "Medical Assistant" in New Braunfels, TX!

Job Description:

Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and directing calls to the appropriate staff.

Perform patient check-in and check-out, ensuring all required forms are completed and demographic, insurance, and contact information is accurate and up to date.

Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to visits, including confirming eligibility and documenting verification details in the electronic health record.

Qualifications:

2+ Year of expereince working with Front Desk / Surgery Scheduling / Insurance Verification is mandatory

Medical Assistant Certificate Preferred

This is a Contract position based out of Cibolo, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
