As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor entry points, verify badges and visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Thur06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Fri06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Monitor access points at a technology, media, and telecommunications construction location; verify authorized entry credentials and maintain visitor and contractor access records.

Control the flow of personnel, deliveries, and vehicles entering and leaving the location in accordance with established access-control procedures.

Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, construction areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.

At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
