The Senior Manager, Portfolio Marketing- Surgical Ophthalmology isis responsible for leading the strategic and tactical marketing initiatives for Bausch + Lombs surgical portfolio. This role drives commercial performance across capital equipment, disposables, and procedural solutions by developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that accelerate adoption, utilization, and market share growth.

This individual will serve as a key partner to Sales, Clinical, R&D, and Global Marketing teams, translating customer insights and market dynamics into impactful marketing programs that support surgeons, surgical centers, and the broader ophthalmic community.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute portfolio strategy and marketing plans to achieve revenue, margin, market share, and lifecycle management objectives.

Drive commercial growth through market analysis, competitive intelligence, customer insights, and alignment with Global Marketing and pipeline strategy.

Lead product commercialization and launches for surgical platforms and consumables, including positioning, pricing, value proposition development, and adoption optimization.

Partner with customers and stakeholders by leading advisory boards, educational programs, and incorporating customer insights into product and marketing decisions.

Enable sales success through training, messaging, promotional campaigns, digital content, and support for capital equipment selling efforts.

Manage business performance and cross-functional execution by collaborating with Sales, Clinical, R&D, Finance, and Operations; overseeing forecasting, budgets, compliance, and performance reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree required

Must have 6 or more years of experience in marketing and/or sales, preferably in medical device or ophthalmology

Ability to develop and execute portfolio strategies, marketing plans, and product lifecycle initiatives that drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability

Experience with new product launches, developing compelling value propositions, and driving market adoption through effective positioning, pricing, and commercialization strategies

Strong business acumen with experience leveraging market research, competitive intelligence, customer insights, forecasting, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and optimize results.

Ability to influence and collaborate across Sales, Clinical, R&D, Finance, Operations, and Global Marketing teams while building strong relationships with customers, key opinion leaders, and industry stakeholders.

This position may be available in the following location(s): While hybrid work is preferred, at one of the following three locations: Bridgewater NJ, St Louis MO or Clearwater FL, we are open to considering remote candidates who can accommodate periodic onsite presence or travel based on business requirements.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $140,000.00 and $175,000.00. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. They may also be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, a tuition reimbursement program (select degrees), company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive sick time, floating holidays and paid vacation.
