Our client is seeking a hands-on SharePoint Migration Consultant to support a critical Microsoft 365 migration initiative. This individual will be responsible for migrating documents, shared files, and content into SharePoint Online while ensuring data integrity, permissions accuracy, and a seamless user experience.

The ideal candidate has experience executing SharePoint and Microsoft 365 migration projects, troubleshooting migration issues, and working independently in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute SharePoint Online migration activities.

Migrate files, folders, document libraries, and shared content into Microsoft 365.

Validate migrated data and ensure successful transfer of permissions and access controls.

Troubleshoot migration-related issues and perform post-migration support.

Collaborate with business users to understand content structure and migration requirements.

Organize, clean up, and optimize SharePoint environments.

Document migration processes, configurations, and best practices.

Provide end-user support and knowledge transfer as needed.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

3+ years of SharePoint Online administration or migration experience.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 environments.

Experience migrating content from file shares or legacy SharePoint environments.

Strong understanding of SharePoint permissions, document libraries, and site administration.

Experience with migration tools such as ShareGate, AvePoint, or similar platforms.

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and drive project tasks to completion.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Teams and OneDrive migrations.

Familiarity with PowerShell for migration and administration tasks.

Experience supporting enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.

Consulting or project-based experience preferred.
