As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with shoppers, staff, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $15.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Sat05:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Sun05:00 AM - 10:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail store environment.

Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and the surrounding perimeter.

Observe and report suspicious activity, access concerns, property damage, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Assist with access control, visitor direction, and documentation of incidents, patrols, and security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
