As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver individualized treatment interventions across a variety of care settings. Responsibilities

Provide clinical supervision and guidance to therapy technicians and students while actively contributing to staff meetings, interdisciplinary collaboration, and committee work.

Support a strong, team-based environment that promotes shared learning and high-quality patient care.

Take ownership of ongoing professional development by identifying learning needs, pursuing education, and staying current in physical therapy practice, technology, ethics, and regulatory standards.

Embrace feedback, build new skills, and contribute to the growth of peers, students, and the broader therapy team.

Maintain a commitment to excellence in clinical, fiscal, and regulatory responsibilities while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and lifelong learning that enhances patient outcomes and therapy services.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program with an associate's degree; a certificate from an accredited PTA program is acceptable where recognized to meet state licensure educational requirements required .

Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Experience:

Entry level/new graduates are acceptable; satisfactory completion of clinical work required by the program attended; previous work/clinical experience indicating successful ability to assume responsibilities within a team @context required .

Two (2) years' experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.

One (1) year prior experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

License(s)/Certification(s):

Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in state(s) of Practice required .

Basic Life Support (BCLS) through the American Heart Association required .

IL & IA Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in State(s) where providing care required.

IL & IA Dependent Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care required.
