Role summary:
Manager, Planning & Operations serves as a key partner to Spark Shopper and InHome leadership, helping drive organizational effectiveness, strategic execution, and business operations across the Spark Shopper team. This role builds and manages the operating mechanisms that keep the teams aligned, priorities visible, and initiatives moving forward through planning, reporting, communications, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, business acumen, and program management experience, while excelling at creating structure, influencing without authority, and helping teams stay focused, aligned, and accountable.
About the team:
The Spark Shopper team is responsible for the in-store Shopper experience, helping Shoppers find more items, faster while improving the Shopper and customer experience. The team partners across Product, Operations, Analytics, Strategy, Merchandising, and Store Operations to improve item accuracy and availability and streamline the shopping experience. The InHome team is responsible for making InHome the gold standard for delivery beyond the doorstep, bringing customers' orders inside their homes. The team works across operations, product, technology, and business functions to scale growth, improve customer experience, and drive operational excellence.
What you'll do:
Strategy & Planning and Operating Mechanisms
Design and manage the operating mechanisms to help execute against priorities, maintain accountability, and deliver outcomes
Partner with leadership to drive planning cycles, business reviews, reporting processes, and organizational priorities
Strategy Execution & Team Coordination
Track execution of strategic initiatives and ensure these remain aligned to organizational goals
Build frameworks to manage and prioritize roadmaps, initiatives, and outcomes
Communications & Organizational Effectiveness
Support creation of leadership presentations, strategy documents, newsletters, and executive readouts
Improve visibility into team initiatives to align cross-functional partners
Strengthen organizational effectiveness through planning sessions, offsites, and knowledge-sharing mechanisms
What you'll bring:
Planning, Operations & Program Management
Experience in Planning & Operations, PMO, Program Management, Strategy & Operations, Chief of Staff, or related disciplines
Experience building operating mechanisms, planning frameworks, reporting processes, and accountability structures
Ability to influence stakeholders, drive accountability, and maintain alignment without direct authority
Communication & Influence
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills
Ability to simplify complex information into clear priorities, actions, and recommendations
Tools & Business Systems
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience developing executive reporting, roadmaps, trackers, planning frameworks, and leadership presentations.
Experience with Airtable, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, AI (CodePuppy) or similar planning and collaboration tools.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
