Job Description:

The Manufacturing Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling products, components, and subassemblies in a manufacturing environment while meeting production, quality, and safety standards.

The role requires following standardized work instructions, maintaining productivity targets, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with team members to ensure customer demand is met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities :

Assemble products, parts, and subassemblies according to standardized work instructions and engineering specifications.

Meet daily production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.

Perform visual and functional inspections to ensure product conformance.

Follow all quality procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing processes.

Identify and report product defects, equipment issues, and process abnormalities.

Support troubleshooting and problem-solving activities with team members and supervisors.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S and plant standards.

Comply with all company, plant, and departmental safety policies and procedures.

Accurately complete production records, quality documentation, and other required reports.

Participate in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives.

Demonstrate flexibility by supporting different production lines and workstations as needed.

Work collaboratively with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to achieve operational goals.

Experience :

0 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or industrial environment.

Experience working with assembly tools, equipment, and production processes preferred.

Familiarity with quality inspection procedures and manufacturing standards is an advantage.

Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment is preferred.

Ability to read and follow work instructions and process documentation.

Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Effective teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to meet production goals and deadlines.

Knowledge of workplace safety practices and procedures.

Flexibility and adaptability in a changing production environment.

Basic computer and documentation skills.

Education:

High School Diploma, GED, ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.

Technical or vocational training in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial, or related disciplines is preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Ability to lift and handle materials in accordance with safety guidelines.

Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as required.

Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Cross-functional training and multi-skilled manufacturing experience are considered an advantage.

Shift Hours:

8:00AM -5:00 PM EST
